This is the final episode in the Humor and Horror series and in it we discuss how we can redeem horror in the arts.
We look at the verse Philippians 4:8 that says "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." and ask if horror in the arts goes against this verse, why or why not?
Then we discuss how using negative examples can cause us to see God and honor and glorify Him even more.

In this weeks episode we move on to the second portion of our mini series and talk about horror. As we dive into the topic we talk about what things have scared us in movies that we've seen.
We also get into how Christians can and should relate to fear in particular. Can we use it? Should we be afraid? What does it cause us to do as people? These are just some of the questions we try and answer.
Listin in next week as we finish off the series with the topic of how to redeem Horror as Christians for God's Glory...

Humor is a God-given tool that was intended for good but is often used to glorify evil. Knowing how and when to use it is vital in our culture and relationships with others. So how are we to use this gift we have been graciously given from God?
This week Cody and Roy are down a man as they tackle the topic of humor without Daniel. Listen in as they explore ideas and issues relating to humor and how we, as Christians, ought to use and enjoy it. If you are just joining us you might want to give Episode 022.1 a listen for the beginning of this discussion.

In this weeks episode we start a mini series on Humor and Horror. Listen in as we examine and discuss humor as not only a form of entertainment but also a powerful avenue for communicating world views and truth claims.
In this episode we discuss the opportunities that the creator of Calvin and Hobbs, Bill Watterson, takes advantage of to interject his own presuppositions and beliefs and how, as Christians, we should respond.
After that we talk about the hit TV show The Office. So many people love this hilarious show. But do they take the time to stop and think about what is being communicated through the narrative story of the lives of these office workers?
In this episode we take time to look into some of the ideas conveyed and how well they hold up to the truth of reality.
Join us next week as we dive into the response as Christians on whether humor should and can be redeemed as a weapon for the glory of God.
