This week Dan and Roy talk about stories with sad endings and how we can see there can be victory and peace despite going through suffering and pain in our life. We can look at these mediums of art, through a Christian worldview, and see an underlying theme of pain and sadness without a happy ending but can have hope and peace because of who Christ is and what He has done for us. Though we suffer we can rejoice.

I have been laying down on the job, but I'll awaken soon! Expect show notes for all casts without them next week. -Daniel

Our increasingly sexulalized culture celebrates and idolizes the human body. In this cast we see that the proponents of this pornography hardly try to foist it off as art, rather, they deify the creation instead of honoring the creator. Sports Illustrated illistrates more than just sports. Once a year they paste in over the lule of sports with More than just beaches and bikinis. As we examine the ideas behind this industry with a christian worldview and what it leads to and how it got here.

20:30 Roy introduces revolution vs. reformation

21:00 Christians should be in the business of reformation, not revolution. We should be reforming society

*** There is some content in this episode that may not be appropriate for all ages***

As a second part to the mini-series on Philosophical Naturalism; Cody, Daniel and Roy take a look into a song by Bloodhound Gand called The Bad Touch, They examine a piece of artwork by Marcel Duchamp titled; Nude Descending a Staircase, and they finish off the episode by talking about a portion of literature by Jack London called The Law of Life.

They aim to take a Christian worldview on these items from the world of art and examine the underlying ideas and philosophies that only bring meaningless and hopelessness and apart from morality and Scripture.

In the end without a Christian worldview there is no hope, there is no point and we may as well commit suicide. For the Biblical Christian Worldview we can be assured there is hope and a purpose for our existence. We are here for a reason and we need to remember what that is, who made us, and put us here...
